River & Green are proud to present perhaps the most exclusive VIP hunting and golf tour available in Scotland. This super luxurious, VIP hunting and golf tour combines the very best driven wing shooting Europe has to offer, with some of Scotland’s most iconic golf courses.

International hunters and golfers embarking on this tour will experience 5-star+ service from the moment they land in Scotland. At Edinburgh Airport, a fleet of brand-new Land Rover Discovery 5’s will be waiting for you on arrival. From the airport, you will be whisked away in the lap of luxury to your first location, an imposing and beautifully restored 15th Century Castle.

Hunting

From your castle base you will begin the hunting element of your tour. You will spend 3 days hunting driven pheasant and partridge with duck flighting at the end of each day.

You will hunt as a line of up to 8 guns and will have an expectation of 400 birds per day for 2 days and 200 birds for 1 day. This is wingshooting of the highest order and is available exclusively to River & Green clients.

After 3 days of hunting, your VIP hunting and golf tour will head north for the golfing section of the trip. After breakfast at the castle, your fleet of luxury vehicles will transfer you to the most iconic 16th Century Neoclassical Palladian Mansion in Scotland (complete with its own whisky library).

Golf

Overlooking Loch Leven in the Kingdom of Fife, the mansion house is perfectly located to access Scotland’s finest golf courses Including:

  • The PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles
  • The King’s Course at Gleneagles
  • Kingsbarns Golf Course
  • The New Course at St. Andrews
  • The Castle Course at St. Andrews

At the end of your fabulous 7-night stay, your drivers will return to you to Edinburgh Airport in total luxury.

15th Century Castle – Exclusive Use 

This stunning and imposing 15th Century Castle will be yours for the hunting section of your VIP hunting and golf tour. You will have access to the castle and it’s team of staff on an exclusive use basis.

The castle is one of the largest and best-preserved surviving medieval Scottish fortifications. It is located twelve miles south-east of Edinburgh, on a site protected on three sides by a steep fall in the ground. It was constructed in 1430 and has played host to several legendary figures of Scottish history including Mary Queen of Scotts (amongst many others).

Today the castle has been painstakingly restored to provide an unparralled level of comfort and exclusivity.

16th Century neoclassical Palladian Mansion

A beautiful 17th-century country house, this 16th Century neoclassical Palladian Mansion sits overlooking Loch Leven, near Kinross in the Kingdom of Fife. Construction of the house began in 1685, by the architect Sir William Bruce as his own home. It is regarded as one of his finest works, and was called by Daniel Defoe “the most beautiful and regular piece of architecture in Scotland”.

The Estate offers five-star exclusive use accommodation for those wishing to experience exceptional quality and complete privacy.
