Private Island Hunting Offer – Isle of Rona – £6,446

River & Green are delighted to present a truly unique private island hunting offer on the remote Isle of Rona

Your private island hunting trip will take place on the Isle of Rona (full time population of 4).  We have based this proposal on hunters shooting 6 stags over 5 days of stalking. Guests will be accompanied by an expert estate deer stalker while stalking and a hired rifle will be provided.

Deer stalking requires a reasonable degree of fitness. The terrain is uneven, and the walking is mostly uphill and will include a considerable amount of crawling. You can expect to be out all day. Due to the difficulty of the stalking, hunters must be sufficiently fit to undertake the required physical exercise.

Hunters must wear good quality walking boots and have warm waterproof clothing of a subdued colour. Please note that it is customary to tip the stalker £50 – £60 per deer shot.

All hunters should be in possession of fully comprehensive insurance. You may be asked to produce your certificates of insurance before shooting and stalking can commence.

The carcasses remain the property of the estate, however meat may be purchased directly at preferential rates. The cost of trophy preparation and shipping is not included.

There are 2 cottages available to rent on Rona, this private island hunting offer is based on the provision of 1 cottage but both cottages are available and can be booked for larger groups (8 maximum over 2 cottages). Details below:
