Last Minute Shooting Available In Highland Perthshire & The Borders

Last minute shooting – driven partridge (5 – 10 guns)

Due to Corona-virus related cancellations, we currently have unprecedented last-minute shooting available in Highland Perthshire and the Scottish Borders

Usually this close the the partridge season the chances of  securing a driven partridge day would be slim to none as days are normally booked many months in advance, this year however we have a number of days available in September for driven partridge with bags ranging from 100 – 300.

The shooting is located near Aberfeldy and is some of the best partridge shooting Scotland has to offer. The scenery is stunning and the shooting is exciting and challenging for even the most experienced guns.

Days can be tailored to individual client requirements so don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will put together the perfect package for you and your guests.

Walked up grouse shooting available in Perthshire and the Scottish Borders (2 – 6 guns)

The grouse counts are in we are just 1 day away from the Glorious 12th! From tomorrow we have walked up days available in both Perthshire and the Scottish Borders.

While it hasn’t been the best of years for grouse numbers there are enough grouse to offer a good selection of walked up days (a significant improvement from the last few years!) .

We have shooting available through the rest of August up until the end of September. Weekends tend to be busiest but week days have good availability and there are a couple of Fridays and Saturdays free. Why why not give us a call on 0131 202 65 04 (please lave a voicemail if we don’t answer immediately) or contact us by email on

Walked up partridge available (2 – 10 guns)

With many of the larger driven days being cancelled we have lots of walked up days available near Aberfedly in Perthshire and in the Kelso area of the Scottish Borders. A walked up partridge day is one of the best ways to get the full Scottish shooting experience without necessarily breaking the bank. While they lack the formality of a driven day, walked up days allow you to see much more of the countryside and also provide a good bit of exercise in order to justify a good pub dinner and a few drinks in the evening!

Walked up days usually aim for a bag of 8 – 10 head of game per gun consisting of mainly partridge but also may include some duck, geese, rabbit and wood pigeon (no limit on the rabbit and wood pigeon).

We can of course tailor walked up days to your specific requirements so if you’d like a slightly larger bag or if you’d prefer to walk for half of the day and have the 2nd half of the day driven then all you need do is ask and we will make it happen!
