At River & Green, we pride ourselves on being Scotland’s premier sporting outfitter. Between Ian (Director) & Alex (General Manager), River & Green have over 30 years of  experience fishing and hunting in Scotland’s lochs and mountains. Ian is the resident fishing and golf expert and Alex handles all things hunting and shooting. Between the two of us, we have an unrivalled network of contacts across Scotland that can cater for almost any request (fishing and hunting seasons permitting).

Our approach is unique amongst our competitors, we don’t try and make clients buy a set, generic package or go to one specific location. Instead, we work with our international fishermen, hunters and golfers to create itineraries which are as unique as the client’s they are designed for.

Swift, efficient and accurate quotes

Using our online enquiry form (click here), it takes less than a minute for clients to give us all the information we need to come up with a truly tailor-made itinerary. Once we’ve designed the itinerary, we send a full costed and planned out itinerary complete with accurate costings, a day-by-day plan for the trip, maps, images and a full list of services included and excluded.

We will never leave an enquiry unanswered, no matter how big or small. As fishers and hunters ourselves, we know how frustrating it is to send in an enquiry and then hear nothing back for weeks (if ever!). We aim to reply to all enquiries within 2 – 3 working day. If an itinerary is particular complex or challenging to design and so looks like it will take longer than usual, we’ll always keep clients updated with our progress. We work fast, but we also take great care with each individual request to ensure we give our clients the  hunting, fishing or golfing vacation in Scotland they have always dreamed of.

All our itineraries are 100% customizable, so if a personalised proposal needs a few alterations here and there to make it even more special, clients have free reign to ask us to make any changes they’d like to see. We work together with clients for as long as it takes to make each itinerary perfect.

The personal touch

As Scotland’s premier sporting outfitter, the attention to detail and customer focus doesn’t end with the itinerary design process, our delivery of each itinerary is second to none.

Alex, our Bookings Manager, personally books every aspect of each client holiday and goes through every confirmation with a fine-toothed comb, to ensure every I is dotted and every T is crossed. A day or two before every client arrival, Alex personally calls each and every gamekeeper, fishing guide, hotel, golf course, driver etc. to ensure everyone knows their role and that our clients will experience nothing but the very best Scottish welcome and the most relaxing and hassle-free vacation they have every enjoyed.

Ian, our founder and Director, has always been focused on ensuring that River & Green provide the very highest quality smooth and efficient service, but always with that personal touch. Scotland is become more and more popular as a destination for the discerning international sportsman, and so availability for the best hunting, fishing and golf doesn’t last long. The quicker you get in touch, the more choice we will be able to offer. Most of our vacations are planned between 6 and 1 month before arrival. We can always put together last-minute requests, in fact we are better than anyone in Scotland at last-minute itineraries, but the longer the lead in we are given, the better the itinerary will be as we won’t have to compromise due to availability.
