Learning, Accreditation & University Certification…

The English Language Training is delivered by Scotland’s University of the Highlands and Islands. The university is British Council accredited and with over 30 years experience, enjoys an enviable international reputation.

folk music in pub The focus is on practical language use and oral fluency, rather than the study of language systems. Tuition is provided by highly-qualified and experienced ESOL teachers and is tailored to the specific needs of the client, as a result of an online Language Test and an Initial Training Needs Analysis questionnaire issued prior to the start of the course. Courses can be designed to incorporate vocabulary relevant to any business sector.

At the end of the week, all participants receive a University accredited Certificate of Completion and written report.

Classroom learning is mixed with informal exposure to the language of everyday life, through participation in classic field sports. Depending upon the season and your preferences, we design a rich and varied programme of afternoon activities to suite every level of proficiency. Guests are accompanied throughout by an experienced and enthusiastic guide and are furnished with all necessary equipment.

Each venue has been carefully selected to provide the perfect environment for learning, relaxation and socialising. You will have exclusive use of a luxurious country house, manor, hunting lodge or castle, and our experienced staff will be on-hand to ensure that you want for nothing, from the moment you arrive until the time you leave.

Each day your chef prepares breakfast, lunch and a fine dining cake delicious evening dinner, using the finest local and seasonal produce from Scotland’s larder. All meals are prepared to your exact requirements, although we always like to tempt you with our exquisite Scottish cuisine, including; succulent Aberdeen Angus beef, smoked Speyside salmon, fresh west coast langoustines, Perthshire fruits and berries, cheese from the Islands and rich, tender Highland venison.
