Costs
Driven pheasant or partridge; expect to pay from £25 to £40/bird
For grouse; expect to pay £800-1000/gun/day for driven, £250-350 for walked-up and about £500 for shooting over pointers
Walked-up mini drives; expect to pay from £20 to £30/bird
Rough shooting; expect to pay £120-200/day
Roe deer stalking; expect to pay £120-200/day
Red deer stalking; expect to pay £200-400/day
If you choose to be driven, please bear in mind that we will need to charge for the cost of the driver and his accommodation, the car, insurance and fuel. This normally adds about £150-200/day to the cost of your holiday
Restrictions
In Scotland we do not generally shoot on a Sunday
Self catering accommodation is always only available from Saturday to Saturday
Regulations
If you want to bring your own shotgun or rifle into the UK from Europe, you will need to hold a European Firearms Pass and we must have a minimum of 45 days to process your UK Visitors Permit.
You must provide proof that you carry Public Liability Insurance of at least £5 million.
Shotguns and rifles can be hired.
Dogs may be brought into the UK in accordance with the Pet Travel Scheme
