Design Your Golf Vacation

This is what sets River & Green apart. We will organize your golfing vacation or golf break, the way you want it. If you want to spend three days playing the links courses of Fife, then head south to play Troon and Prestwick and then finish off with a round at Muirfield… no problem! Just tell us what you want to do and we will make it happen!

Costs

For the most famous Championship courses; expect to pay from £150 to £200/round
For the less well known, “hidden gems”; expect to pay from £40 to £80/round
A caddy normally charges £40-50/round and should also be paid a tip of £10 to £20/round
If you choose to be driven, please bear in mind that we will need to charge for the cost of the driver and his accommodation, the car, insurance and fuel. This normally adds about £150-200/day to the cost of your holiday

Restrictions

Due to club competitions, availability tends to be more limited at the more famous courses during weekends
The Old Course at St Andrews is closed to visitors on a Sunday
Proof of a handicap below 24 for men and 36 for women is required to play many of the Championship courses
Access to the Old Course at St Andrews is normally by daily ballot; click here for further information
Self catering accommodation is always only available from Saturday to Saturday
