This is what sets River & Green apart. We will organize your fishing vacation or fishing break, the way you want it. If you want to spend two days rainbow trout fishing, then have two days river fishing for brown trout and then a day of salmon fishing… no problem! Just tell us what you want to do and we will make it happen!

Costs
Salmon fishing is a relatively expensive sport; expect to pay from £75 to £200/day
Sea trout fishing normally costs about £100/day
River fishing for trout and grayling is very affordable at about £10 to £20/day
Rainbow trout fishing costs about £30 to £40/day, including boat hire
If you choose to be driven, please bear in mind that we will need to charge for the cost of the driver and his accommodation, the car, insurance and fuel. This normally adds about £150-200/day to the cost of your holiday.
Restricted days
In Scotland, river fishing is not allowed on a Sunday
Self catering accommodation is always only available from Saturday to Saturday
Equipment and tactics
When fly-fishing for trout we normally use 5-7 weight, 8-10ft, single-handed rods
When fly-fishing for salmon we normally use 8-10 weight, 13-15ft, double-handed rods, although single-handed rods are suitable on smaller rivers and in low-water conditions
Spinning for salmon is normally only allowed in high-water conditions or on the largest rivers, such as the Tay. We never spin for trout or grayling.
While we are happy to provide top quality equipment for hire, we strongly urge you to bring your own waders
